On Call Nurse Review & Giveaway

Ever have medical questions you would like answered to ease your mind? Ever tried to call an ER? They will not answer the simplest of questions. They will always tell you to bring the person/child in.

On Call Nurse is a wonderful service that gives you access to a nurse for any and all of your questions 24/7 and every day of the year. The service is available in over 150 languages. "You can learn about what to do, when to do it and where to go to handle your health issues. You can learn more about medications and prescriptions and how they interact; as well as information about health screenings and immunizations. You may also use this service to learn what type of questions you should be asking your doctor before you visit, and to further discuss the answers after your visit."

Through my affiliation with The Family Review Network, I was given a 1-year subscription in which to give them a call in order check out the service. While I don't have any immediate needs, I know they are just a phone call away. I did call, as a rehearsal, to see how easy On Call Nurse is to get through to. I was greeted with an automated menu that gave the option of speaking to a Nurse or Visit the Health Information Library! As I don't have anything at the moment, we all know how these questions arrive at the most inopportune times. Like the middle of the night.

Features Of On Call Nurse:
  • One subscription to On Call Nurse covers your family including children up to age 26
  • There are currently over 34 million subscribers
  • It is backed by United Health Care
  • They offer services in over 150 languages
  • You can use their service anywhere, from home, traveling, even overseas
  • The service costs $4.95/Month for an individual or family with a $19.95 signup process

I would give this to my grandmother who is 95. She often has questions and doesn't want to "bother" a doctor with the questions.

I have a daughter who prefers to get sick at 2am. This would help so much!

We could use this because I have a 14 month old and tons of questions (that I always forget when I take her to the doctor.)
