7 UP Biscuits
2 cups Bisquick
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup 7-up
1/4 cup melted butter
Cut sour cream into biscuit mix, add 7-Up. Makes a very soft dough.
Sprinkle additional biscuit mix on board or table and pat dough out. Melt 1/4 cup butter in a 9 inch square pan. Place cut biscuits in pan and bake at 450 degrees until golden brown.
Make them tonight!
Your family will love them!

These look and sound pretty tasty!

ReplyDeleteJust made these for the kids!! Wonderful, so easy to make and taste great. Will be making these again for a great anytime snack or with dinner.
ReplyDeleteTried these tonight and they were a sticky gloppy mess. Couldn't get enough mix into the dough. Ended up with 4 blob b
ReplyDeleteiscuits sitting in a pool of butter waiting for them to bake. I don't know how these could taste very good for as much trouble as I had trying to pat them out.
I made them and they were indeed delicious!!
ReplyDeleteJust made these , used vanilla Greek yogurt instead of sour cream( it was what I had on hand) & put a little of melted butter in recipe ~ turned out great ! Used a little less butter in pan as well -& just poured dough into pan -cooked 15 min & check to see if they are done ...

ReplyDeleteI have made these 3 times since discovering your recipe. They have turned out perfectly every time and are DELICIOUS! To respond to the one complaint above, I would say that the trick is to generously dust (with the Bisquick) all sides of the super-moist dough ball, before moving it to the pastry board. Also, don't know if it makes any difference, but I've used "Pioneer Buttermilk Biscuit & Baking Mix" instead of Bisquick, and it has been SO yummy!
ReplyDeleteThese were AEWSOME used sprite instead of 7up, (that's all they had at the store I stopped at) and I really don't see a reason to make biscuits any other way:).
ReplyDeleteyum... made these and they are AMAZING! Dough is sloppy- just bisquick your hands! I am a terrible baker and THESE ROCKED!
ReplyDeleteI used diet 7up & they turned out fine
ReplyDeleteI tried them with sprite and they were delicious. My family loved them!!!
ReplyDeleteMade these tonight. They were delicious...worth heating the oven on a 106 degree day.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness...just made these. Thank you, thank you thank you! Perfect breakfast biscuit!
ReplyDeleteI've never been able to make biscuits, but I made these last night and they were delicious and so easy.
ReplyDeleteWondering also if u can use diet 7-up ?
ReplyDeleteHad these with breakfast tonight., my family loved them and it was so easy.
ReplyDeleteExcellent! Foolproof! Double the recipe. Cut out 1/2" thick and flip in melted butter. Cut out with small juice glass. Feather light and melt in your mouth. Bake 15 min or until golden brown. Brush with butter when come out of oven.
ReplyDeleteI made these with dinner last night and they were a BIG hit!
ReplyDeleteThese look great, but i was wondering could these be made ahead of time and put in the freezer, and if so would u make them ahead of time and bake them or justake the dough and then freezer that.
ReplyDeleteI used greek yogurt as well. I only had ginger ale and they still turned out great!!
ReplyDeleteWonder if I added a little sugar if they would be good for strawberry shortcake?
ReplyDeleteJust tried these a second time - the first time they were delicious but not nearly at beautiful, fluffy, and tall as the original. This time I did a double batch and did it in a 9x13 pan and it worked much better. Sooooo good!
