Sunday

I awoke this morning with a migraine. They are the worst! If you have never had one, it is difficult to describe the pain. It is hard to function, even think, with them. I took an Imitrex when I woke up and ended up taking another in the afternoon.
I did not get all I wanted done today because of this. If you read
my about me you will see that I am an avid coupon shopper and I should have been at Walgreens today for a money maker. I was just too sick.
However, I did work in some coasters around the bouts of pain. Photos are posted below. Hubby cuts the paper, I attach with modge podge and he sprays (I cannot to do the spray because of allergies). We also assembled plates and candlesticks to make cake stands (supplies obtained from Goodwill).
My daughter and I are also working on plans for a baby shower for my son and his girlfriend. I will post photos as we go along. We are in the beginning stages.
Off to spend some time with my grandson before he goes back home!

Hi Denise, my sister gets migranes and they are horrible! I love the coasters! So unique! You could mod podge over them and not have to spray!

Hi Stephanie! We have been experimenting with it and the paper seems to rip and wrinkle when we just use modge podge. So far, our best method seems to be to use modge podge as the glue to hold it down and spray the tops. We like that glossy look :) We have expireimented with the sprays, too. Not all our created equal. We have a nice large set of "expirimental" coasters for home use. LOL
