Apothecary Jars

As you all know, I am planning a baby shower. I have been looking into Apothecary Jars for my tablescape. I see a few plain jane jars at Wal- Mart and wanted to do some research. What I found may appeal to others. The first site I came across is
Save On Crafts.
They have a wonderful assortment of items for tablescapes, including frames (I will probably be making my own frames). There were many, many to choose from. However, I found some that I feel are unique and would be great for a tablescape.

The first is a
beverage server.
This would be fabulous with a coordinating beverage.

The next is not so much an apothecary jar, yet would be great on the table. It is considered
a vase.

They also had coordinating
Jordan Almonds,

and rock candy for your tablescapes.

I came across this
Ebay store
that had nice jars but very few at Buy It Now Pricing.

This
Apothecary Jar
is up to $15.26 with $14.00 shipping.

Through searching, I did find many that were way more than I am willing to spend. I saw one for $289.00. That is just crazy! Target showed many, so I will be making a trip to check these out. If you have purchased some reasonable apothecary jars, let me know where! It would be a great help!

Hi Denise! That ebay one is crazy ~ you can go to Michaels and get them for $15.99! I find that Home Goods has the least expensive that I've found in a store. I do see some at Goodwill every so often for maybe $2.99-$4.99.

Good Morning Denise....WOW..some beautiful jars. Have you looked on Etsy yet? You would be amazed at what you can find there. In the search bar there just type in apothecary jars and every vendor that has some will be listed for you. Hope you find what you are looking for and it doesn't cost an arm..or leg or YIKES both..LOL!!!

Hugs,
Regi

I love apothecary jars and have found some at the Goodwill for dirt cheap. I wanted to let you know that thrift stores are always an option for way cheaper. Although I haven't seen any of the bigger ones, I still got some decent size ones for $3 or less! Just wanted to let you know!

I love apothecary jars, if you have a Garden Ridge store near you they had some a month ago.

Hi thanks for stopping by and following :), I'm a new follower too!

I'm LOVING those vases, the 2nd one is just cool looking! And the rock candy so reminds me of being young :). Target is great for budget friendly house items :)

An idea is to mix a few nice apothecary jars with plain old jars with painted lids. Hobby Lobby has a variety of jars at a reasonable price (coupons on line) I've also seen fishbowls, large wine glasses and martini glasses mixed in, as well as small punch bowls. I'll be anxious to see what you end up doing

Hi, I had two daughters get married this past year and we did a candy bar at one of them. I found apothecary jars on clearance at Ross and a few at Goodwill. Another place to check online are wedding website/blogs. They will often have an area that brides sell there items second hand. Project wedding has a "classifieds and deals". Have fun shopping and planning.

We did a candy bar for our wedding, and we used a couple apothecary jars as well as jars of different shapes and sizes; all of which we bought at Goodwill for cheap! We also shopped for candy by color here: http://www.candywarehouse.com/candycolors.html
