Real Simple Makeover Your Refrigerator
Stop over to Real Simple and see how to clean up your refrigerator. There are lots of helpful tips from drink strategy to labeling.

The Refrigerator, Before
“It was out of sight, out of mind." says Rachel Weinblatt, a stay-at-home mom in Cooper City, Florida. "You couldn’t see the mess with the doors closed, thank goodness. Nothing smelled funny, and food wasn’t spilling out, so to me it was an island unto itself. But I could never find what I was looking for, and it just seemed to be getting worse and worse.”

The Refrigerator, After
After learning a few things about the family’s food habits (Rachel and company are big fruit and vegetable eaters and always have leftovers to deal with), organizer Kate Parker tossed ancient artifacts, repackaged the good stuff in easy-view containers, and relocated items to the smartest spots.

and the recipe I promised....
This was FABULOUS!!!!! It is a must have for your go-to recipes!

Margarita Chicken

Semi-Homemade Cooking with Sandra Lee

Ingredients

  • 4 bone-in chicken breast halves
  • 1 can (10 ounces) frozen margarita mix (recommended: Bacardi), thawed
  • 2/3 cup tequila
  • 1/2 cup fresh cilantro leaves, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons chicken seasoning

Directions

Rinse the chicken breasts and pat dry; set aside.
In a small bowl, combine the remaining ingredients. Place the chicken and marinade in large resealable plastic bag. Squeeze out the air and seal. Let marinate in the refrigerator for 1 to 2 hours.
Set up the grill for direct cooking over medium heat and oil grate when ready to start cooking. Remove the chicken from the refrigerator and let sit at room temperature for 30 minutes.
Place chicken on hot oiled grill and cook 5 to 6 minutes per side, or until done.
INDOOR: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Prepare chicken breasts as directed. Roast chicken breasts in preheated oven for 35 to 40 minutes.
