Set the scene... Table Linens

Setting a formal table isn't as expensive as one might think. Dressing your table(s) with linens is the most dramatic way to change the look of your event space and make a personal statement with elegance, style, and color.

Whether a dinner party or a baby/wedding shower, your guests will think you went to great lengths when using cloth. The days of plastic tablecloths and paper napkins should be long behind us.

Sam's Club online offers an extensive line of cloth napkins and tablecloths. From basic white to red. Planning an Italian dinner party? Think red and white check. Christmas? They offer red and green. Unlike plastic and paper, they can be saved for another occasion.

Or, how about personalizing your set?

Loved it all ... the black, white and gold; the stenciling; and I am a monogram junkie. Beautiful ideas!

These are very nice. I wish I could do stuff like this but we'll need to buy a table first.

I adore table linens! I don't even have a dining room right now, just a little breakfast nook... yet I still buy linens. Chargers, napkins, oh and I really do need a new table cloth... hmmm maybe I should stop by Anthropologie today!!

Thank you so much for your sweet comments. Sorry it took so long to respond!

Hope you have a lovely Monday!!

Bonnie

LOVE it. We set our table almost every night..even when it is just the two of it. I love linens and have these awesome square day ware we use with perfect square leather placemats. Gorgeous.

Hi! I stopped over after seeing your comment on my blog! You have some wonderful ideas! Sewing your own napkins is also easy and can make a beautiful accompaniment to your table (not that I ever get to properly set a table with 6 kids running around!) I am now following you, too! I love meeting new friends!

I love your blog. Its right up my alley! I laughed at myself for thinking that it said RIP on the napkin that had a cherub head in a plate. I guess my eyes are not as good as they were once were. Thanks for following me and now its my turn!

Take care!

I agree with JamericanSpice - we need a table. We're going on 5 years of marriage and no fancy dining room table. LOL

Those linens are gorgeous. I came across a lot of vintage linens that I sell in my Etsy shop. Some gorgeous ones that I'd like to keep, but being that I have no table I don't deserve them!

What a great idea! I love the monogram and fleur de lis napkins. I just remembered, from reading this, that I have fancy iron-on "P"'s for our last name initial that would probably work great for this. Just need to get some napkins to do it on!
