Spill-Resistant Snack Cup for Infants and Toddlers!

Innovative in both concept and design the patented spill-resistant Munchie Mug eliminates snack-time messes for children 10 months and older. It's ideal for use at home, in the car or anyplace when you're on the go! Children love the colorful cup and soft fabric while parents like its convenience and ease of use. Munchie Mug is a must have for messy little snackers everywhere.
Features:
  • Secure Screw-On Top with Easy Grip Handle
  • Soft fabric closure for sensitive little hands
  • Easy to clean: Top Rack Dishwasher Safe
  • Great for healthy snacking: Cereals, dried fruits, crackers, etc.
  • Additional stay-fresh lid included for keeping snacks fresh when mug is not in use
  • Economically friendly: Made in the United States of America
  • Child friendly: Made of all FDA food grade compliant materials
  • Environmentally friendly: Made of 100% recyclable materials & eliminates waste created by plastic snack baggies that are used once and thrown away. Use the Munchie Mug, again, again, and again!!!

The Mug:
Munchie Mug is 100% proudly made in America with safety in mind. Made of tough, durable, and recyclable No. 5 polypropylene from American suppliers, the plastic and color additives are approved for direct food contact according to FDA 21 CFR, sections 177.1520 and 170.39. Munchie Mug comes with a 16 oz. plastic jar that effectively holds 10 oz. of dry foodstuffs and is suitable for children 10 months and older. The unique patent pending lid screws on tight, assuring that it stays on and the food stays in.
The Munchie Mug has been field tested for over a year, and has held up well to the satisfaction of its users (see testimonials). The tough, durable, fabric will undergo wear typical of fabrics, but this will not impair the function of the Munchie Mug (see FAQ’s page).
How it is used:
Unscrew the lid and put in the snack. Cloth opening actually remains closed at all times, that is, until the child wants a snack. When hungry, the child easily and comfortably puts their entire hand through the soft non-scratchy opening and grabs the snack. Then the hand is freely withdrawn through the opening with the hand holding the snack. When the hand is removed, the cloth opening closes by itself. A solid stay fresh lid is also supplied in order to keep the snack fresh when the Mug is not in use.
Care and maintenance:
(cleaning)
Please clean your Mug before the first usage. All parts are dishwasher safe and may be cleaned using the top rack (do not put the parts on the bottom rack) of a dishwasher.
(drying)
The cloth holds moisture after washing. To dry it, press against both sides of the fabric at the same time with 2 pieces of dry cloth or paper towels. Blot a few times and the fabric should be dry.
(removing the patented threaded lid)
The Munchie Mug features a screw on top that makes it very difficult for children to open. Because of this locking feature of the threads, the easiest way to open the Mug is to insert the four fingers of your left hand into the top of the mug while grasping the outside with your thumb. Holding the jar in your right hand (as shown in the accompanying photo), turn the lid clockwise in the direction the thumb is pointing to easily open the mug. It is not necessary to overly tighten the lid.

Testimonials:

“My daughter loves the Munchie Mug, especially in the car. You can fit lots of snacks in the Munchie Mug. Best of all…there are no spills. Easy to handle size – great built in handle for little hands. Very durable.” (child 36 months)
Sharon, Sebastopol, CA

“He was afraid to put his hand in it the first time. But after I showed him a few times he got the hang of it. Now he loves it. We use it whenever we go out. Great for in the car.”
Staci, California (child 13 months)

“Thank you So Much!! Love it! Love it! Love it!
Daniel, Santa Rosa, CA (child 18 months)”

“Our kids love this mug. Our10 month old uses it with ease. The 3 year old also enjoys using it. We are still using the mug daily. It is the best thing we have to take food in.”
Jenny - CA (10 month and 3 years old)

I’ve had the Munchie Mug for well over two years, and it’s a time saver. Instead of gathering sandwich bags full of crackers and what not, you can grab your Mug and kid then hit the road. No messy transferring of snacks, and your child can literally throw it and the snacks stay contained. Also I like the fact that EVERYTHING the cup is made of is from the USA.
Steve - Shasta Lake, CA

Our daughter is 4 years old and loves her Munchie Mug, she takes it everywhere she goes. My husband and I have found over the past four years that most snack cups are for very young children with small fingers and hands. My husband was sold on the Munchie Mug when he discovered that he could even reach his hand in to the mug with no problem. Our daughter has had her Munchie Mug for 8 months and it works as good today as it did the first day she received it. I love the Munchie Mug for its cleaning ease, all I have to do is put it in the dishwasher. The mug comes out clean every time and I don’t have to reassemble it like most kids food ware items that you need to get the instructions out just to put it back together. The Munchie Mug has saved my husband and me from cleaning up countless potential messes in the car, on airplanes, at other people’s homes and in stores. I recommend the Munchie Mug for young and old children alike.
The Williams Family - California

The Munchie Mug is a clever idea, because the kid’s can’t make a mess. My kids love the munchie mug, they reach in for snack and eat. It’s like a game for them. And most important they stay happy. Try the Munchie Mug, you will love it.
Francesca - Redding, CA

About Them:

Witty Works Inc. is a family-based business in Sonoma, California, that is dedicated to the safety and development of children’s products for a better world. Witty Works maintains a high standard in manufacturing and design. Witty Works was established with the concept of creating products that are safe and help to simplify life.

The first product released by Witty Works Inc. is the Munchie Mug – a spill resistant snack cup for children 10 months and older that is innovative in both concept and design. The idea was originally born in 2004 by the company’s President Phil., a precision machinist by trade, dedicated inventor, and most importantly, a Grandfather. With the help of Mike (also a grandfather), a talented engineer and close family friend, and Phil’s four children and their families, Munchie Mug went through lots of testing - and several rebirths – to become the product it is today.
With the goal of child safety in mind and a dedication to American Manufacturing, it is our hope that the Munchie Mug will set new standards for children’s products. We believe that the Munchie Mug is superior in function and design to other products of similar use. And in a day and age when product recalls are commonplace, we have made the effort to guarantee that our product is constructed with only FDA food grade approved materials. It is very important to us that the Munchie Mug is both environmentally and economically friendly. Purchasing a Munchie Mug is making a decision to create a better world for ourselves and our children.

The Review:
I received a Munchie Mug in blue for my little man and immediately set about to put it through testing. I filled it with healthy cereal that we use as a snack and handed it over. He is coordinated, but now wanting to dump things and has just learned to stand and walk along furniture, which makes him unsteady. This was great! No spills, even if his hand is in it. We had previously purchased an item that you would think is similar, but is by no means as good. On the other one, he learned he could turn it upside down and shake and things would fall out. It became a game. It is my opinion that this is a must for any household with small children! I will also be purchasing these as gifts!

I learned that you can write the child's name on the cup. I'd pick the blue cup. Thanks for the chance.
