About:

After becoming thoroughly discouraged every season as she searched for the perfect swimsuit, Brittney decided that it didn't exist.  She was frustrated with expensive prices, wrong fits and the hassle of searching online for hours.  Having some sewing experience, the thought came to mind, "Why don't I make my own swimsuit?"

After a lot of trial and error, she was finally able to sew swimsuits that were comfortable, stylish and flattering.  She began making swimsuits for friends and family and soon the word started spreading.

She sold hand-sewn women's swimsuits in 2008 and 2009 and received an overwhelmingly positive response.  She gained priceless knowledge as she personally fit hundreds of women.  She was able to discover their needs, wants and insecurities.  With this knowledge she was able to design a line of swimsuits for the 2010 season.

To increase the quality and keep up with demand she no longer hand-make the swimsuits, but am able to offer styles, designs and a price point that fits the needs of women.

I stumbled upon Essential Swimwear one day and was excited with the styles available.  I also LOVE when you can purchase tops and bottoms separately. Our upper half and lower half are not created equally! Most of us cannot get through the summer without the need for a swimsuit and we NEED it to be comfortable. 

Most women are the same as far as shopping for a swimsuit, we all dread it! You search and search, try on and try on, all with awful lighting that makes us look terrible. Try on 50 suits and by the end of the day you are so discouraged! Now, we no longer need to torment ourselves this way! Armed with a computer, the internet and reputable retailers like Essential Swimwear, and you can shop from the comfort of your own home! 

I was once able to wear bikinis. After having children, I am no longer comfortable doing so. And lately, I have added on a few pounds. I am more comfortable with my belly covered. I have the added weight and stretch marks from having children that I do not want to show. The search is over for cute & fashionable modest swimwear! Essential Swimwear offers tankini swim suits, great for moms! There are several designs to choose from, all fantastic.  They had the PERFECT suit for me! 

I chose the Black Garden Sweetheart top. Let me tell you, this is even cuter in person! I had a friend over when it came in the mail and she wanted to steal it from me!

Simple.  Flattering.  Perfect.  This swim top is effortless with a sweetheart neckline.  The contrasting band at the bust adds interest and draws the eye upward.  This suit is designed to fit your body perfectly with adjustable straps that can criss-cross or go straight back, depending on your preference.

 Front lined with built-in, seamless soft cups.

Nylon/Spandex.

For the bottoms, I chose Black Hipster Bottoms. They fit great and look great with the top. I love how the bottom is a solid color and not of the same material as the top. 

All the comfort of our basic bottoms with a lower leg cut to provide added coverage.  These bottoms will take you effortlessly through any beach or poolside activity - without the constant tugging and pulling.

Front lined.  Nylon/Spandex.
