100 Abandoned Houses

100 Abandoned Houses

Have you heard of the site called 100 Abandoned Houses? I had not.A limited edition of 10 prints, of each image is available for purchase in a size of 5×5 inches. The price is $35 with $10 from each sale going to a charity or non-profit organization.

It is a shame that such stunning craftsmanship sits empty and unloved.

Wouldn't these make for stunning homes to revitalize?

I think there is nothing sadder than an abandoned house. Everytime I drive by one (and there are plenty around here), I think about the families that lived there and how it ended up abandoned. I love old houses.

It is really sad to see. There are so many lovely properties that with a little love would be spectacular. I would love to be able to rehab homes, but with the downturn in the economy, it just isn't possible right now. Maybe someday.
