Let's Make It: {Chevron Painted Rug}

I LOVE RUGS.
Just sayin’.
They can add so much to a plain room.
But, I HATE the prices of rugs.
Not so with Ikea.
They are fabulously priced but sometimes plain Jane’s.

This idea for jazzing up the plain Jane Ikea rug came from

{House of Smiths}!

Who here is surprised?

After all, The Smith Family is so creative, always coming up with

OH-SO FAB

ideas!

I am totally loving this Chevron Painted Rug!

I Was Cutting The Rug,Down At a Place Called The Jug,With a Girl Named Linda Lu

Emily at Finding My Aloha had the wonderful foresight to take this rug:

 and three more to create this masterpiece:

INGENIOUS!

She knew, as I have also priced, that a rug the size we need would be about $200-$400. These were $20 each. Fantastic deal + Minimal work = Masterpiece!
