Wicked Intentions by Elizabeth Hoyt is the first book in her Maiden Lane series. Wow! Great start for this series!  I really like romance novels and this just left me wanting more! I love it when a book is that good! The characters are perfectly played out and there is uncontrolled passion and suspense.  


Although not strikingly beautiful, the main character, Temperance , has a loveliness and quality about her that comes through in Elizabeth's writing. Personally, I love the fact that she is not strikingly beautiful. I think more women can relate to her. Many of these types of books have what they think are action plots, you have not really read an action plot until you have read Wicked Intentions!

I highly recommend Wicked Intentions to anyone who enjoys historical romance novels. Just a heads up for those who may not like explicit sex scenes, this may be something to consider when purchasing this one.
