About me:

My name is Denise. I am married to a gorgeous,charming, and highly intelligent pain in my rear named Dave. We live in Florida, with our children and our dog, Chanel.

I do work outside the home.

I am a licensed Gap Adjuster and I work as a Quality Assurance Specialist. We lived  Saint Louis, for several years where I had my own businesses (a catering business & a daycare). This means my days had been filled with children and nights and weekends with food.

I started this website in January 2010. Due to the occurrences of people getting fired, I will not reference the name of where I work. I will, from time to time, say how I feel about it. We are supposed to have freedom of speech, but I guess that doesn’t apply to bloggers?

This site chronicles my life as a wife and mom, as a work outside the home mom, being pregnant, you name it.


We are a DIY couple. We NEVER pay anyone to do a task we can do! We also LOVE to find awesome, entertaining, useful and inspiring D.I.Y projects, hacks and recipes and SHARE them with our lovely readers!! Our blog not only shares with you the awesome DIY projects we find, it stores them so that we keep track of our favorite D.I.Y projects.
